Who said that all hockey players do is fight?

When the Edmonton Oilers took on the San Jose Sharks, the Pacific Division ramifications were massive but the players on the ice were having the time of their life.

When Oilers' forward Patrick Maroon went to the net front to fight for a puck, he was met by Sharks' defenseman Brent Burns. Maroon shoved Burns to the ground but it was what happened when they got to the ground that has people talking.

Maroon started stroking Burns' beard.

You read that right. Maroon in his post-game comments actually confirmed what he said to Burns when he was on the ground.

"I thought he was going to be mad at first but he said, 'hey do you like the beard?' I said, 'yeah it's a pretty nice beard'," said Maroon after the game.

What a harmonious moment in an otherwise rough and tumble game. The Oilers would end up winning the game 5-3 with Maroon actually scoring the game-winning goal.
