Samoskevich in FLA just resigned a one year contract for $775,00. He’s coming off his rookie year where he made $925,000 and scored 15 goals. Surely he could have doubled his money on the open market. Dollars to donuts this guy has been promised future considerations to help with their cap crunch and that is not kosher. Will the NHL (or better NHLPA, who cannot be happy about this) investigate?  Doubtful.
