Daniel Zaar's time in North America may be coming to an end.

The Columbus Blue Jackets' prospect is weighing multiple offers in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) according to a report from KvallsPosten, an early evening newspaper in Malmo, Sweden.

According to the report, Zaar has already visited three separate teams in Sweden. Linkoping, Vaxjo Lakers and the Malmo Redhawks are the reported teams.

The team with the highest bid is currently the Malmo Redhawks . The Redhawks' sporting director confirmed in the report that they have made contact with Zaar.

In 55 games this past season with the Cleveland Monsters, Zaar scored eight goals and pitched in with 22 assists for a total of 30 points. Those numbers put him fourth on the team in scoring.

Zaar's contract expired after this 2016-17 season and leaves him as a restricted free agent going into the offseason. He is 23 years old and has yet to see time in the NHL.

While only a report, it appears the writing is on the wall that Zaar won't be returning to the Blue Jackets' farm system.
