Another player has joined the Columbus Blue Jackets 500 games played club.
Forward Cam Atkinson was the sixth person to join that club with the Blue Jackets. The other players in that club are Rick Nash, Rostislav Klesla, David Vyborny, Jared Boll, and Fedor Tyutin.
Atkinson has a chance to make his way past multiple other players before his time is done with the team. This season alone, Atkinson has a chance to pass Klesla and Boll who have played in 515 and 518 games respectively.
Atkinson enters his 500th game having scored 176 goals and 151 assists for a total of 327 points.
