Matt Duchene has been a member of the Columbus Blue Jackets for just over 24 hours and has already registered his first goal (and 28th of the season).
It wasn't the prettiest, or as good as most of Duchene's goals look. But we will surely take it.
This goal came just 59 seconds into the second period against the San Jose Sharks, to push the Blue Jackets lead to 2-0. Duchene's new linemates Artemi Panarin and Cam Atkinson both assisted on the goal.
Duchene is now one point away from his third 60-point season of his career.
