The Columbus Blue Jackets select Russian forward Dmitri Voronkov with 114th pick in the fourth round.

The Russian forward has played in games in the KHL, MHL, and VHL over the course of the last season. He played for Ak Bar Kazan and played on three levels of their organization. When he played in the KHL it was for three games and he did not score a point. Voronkov was most successful in the VHL, where he scored 14 points total in 50 games.

Voronkov is listed at 6'4" and is compelling since he quickly worked his way through the men's leagues to get to the top of the KHL.

The Athletic's Corey Pronman described him as a player "on a steep upward trajectory."
