Werenski picked up his second point of the night with the assist, and Kirill Marchenko added an assist to extend a four-game point streak (four assists).

(9:48 — STL Goal): Bjugstad scored unassisted to get the Blues within one. The Blues were the better team for many stretches of the final frame while Greaves made several key stops to preserve the win and come away with First Star of the Night honors.

St. Louis had 32 third-period shot attempts to 10 for the Jackets. Columbus had a 49-33 advantage through the first two periods.
