With back-to-back wins and points in three straight games, the Columbus Blue Jackets are home again Saturday night when they face off against the New York Rangers.

Here are five things to know before the 7:00 p.m. puck-drop:

  • The Rangers have just one win at home, but away from home they're a league-best 8-1-1. They've also scored a combined 13 goals in their last two games. This is the first half of a back-to-back for the Rangers, who are back in the Big Apple on Sunday to battle the Detroit Red Wings.

  • Over their last nine games, the Blue Jackets have killed off 17 of 18 opposition power plays. That not only speaks to the improvement of the penalty kill, but also some improved discipline. They've taken more than two penalties in a game just once during that stretch.

  • Kirill Marchenko will look to add on to his career-best, ten-game point streak in this game. It's the longest active streak in the league, and is now tied for fourth in Blue Jackets' history. The record? That's 13 straight with a point, set by Ryan Johansen in the 2014-15 season.

  • For the fourth straight game, Jet Greaves gets the start in goal. He's allowed four or more goals in three of his last four starts, but Columbus is 2-1-1 in that stretch. For the season, Greaves has an .897 save percentage and a goals against right at 3.00.

  • No lineup changes are expected. Here are the complete projections:
