So this is kind of a big deal for me. My wife and I went to Jackets games all the time when we were in college down in Circleville. It's funny, because she has been joking this whole season that they're doing better because we moved. Either way, this season has been killing me because I've wanted to go to a game so bad; I supported the Jackets when they sucked, so I definitely wanted to go see them when they were doing well.

Last June, we moved to Valparaiso, IN to be a part of starting up a church. Valpo is about 40 miles outside of Chicago, so we are in the heart of Blackhawks' country. We talked about trying to go see them when they played in Chicago, but ticket prices here vs ticket prices in Columbus were problematic. Add in the fact that as newly married, recently graduated pastors, we don't have many pennies to pinch haha. So we did the next best thing that we could and splurged on an NHL.tv subscription for all of the regionally broadcasted CBJ games. So we got to listen to Jeff call the games, as it should be.

The lucky thing for us is that for my day job, I work at an elementary school as an IT specialist, so I still get breaks and such. Next week just so happened to be my spring break, so we decided to head home for the week. When we decided that, my wife (she's the best) had the great idea to see if the Jackets were playing, and behold, they're playing Buffalo a week from today.

I know that's a lot of story just to say that we are going to go see the Jackets play the Sabres, but this one means a lot to me. My opportunities to see the Jackets play at NWA are going to be few and far between; I'm super excited, so I wanted to share in my excitement with my fellow CBJ fans.
