I thought Saad would be in Columbus for a long time. I don't know how or if this improves us offensively. It certainly hurts defensively, as Panarin is nowhere near the defensive forward Saad is.
EDIT: I will say, it's just kind of a shocker. The more I look at this trade, the more I like it. Panarin is a big time scorer and a sure 1C. To me, this is also another big vote of confidence in Anderson. It's like JK telling him that he's our guy. This should definitely expand Andy's role next season.
