This just came to my mind... I grew up watching hockey but playing soccer. So in soccer, position changes (even in the pros) are not un-common. For instance, you will see an forward be moved to a defense on the wing or mid or vice-versa.

I am curious (I am thinking of Wenny here in particular) with his strength of play on defense, puck control, higher FO% and higher assist rate why he or other players like him are not considered for a defensive role.

Can you guys think or players you have seen this with? Do you guys know why this hasnt been done more often? Thoughts in general.
