The draft lottery, phase one, is over and the first overall pick has gone to..... "Placeholder team". What that means is that, when the draft lottery, phase 2 is held after the play in round, the 8 losing teams will have an equal chance (12.5%) of getting that first overall pick, guaranteed to be Lafrierne (or however you spell his name). Considering that he's talked about as a near-generational player and would, single-handedly, nearly solve the Jackets' offensive woes, logically, we should root for the Jackets to lose to Toronto. Yet, it feels wrong to hope that my team loses. Thoughts?
